Rowing for Weight Loss |
The key to successful weight loss is consistent exercise. Exercise burns calories so the more you can exercise, the more calories you will burn. Making exercise a daily habit is a great goal. Taking one rest day per week is a good idea, but the more consistent you are with daily exercise - and the longer the better - the bigger the boost you will provide to your weight-loss efforts and long term health.
One of the big ways that Concept 2 Rowing can help you lose weight is by providing you with fun reasons to row and keep rowing. Combine these with your own desire to lose weight and you will have a winning combination.
Have fun!
Million Meter Club - From the very first meter you row, be sure to keep track of your total meters, either online or on paper. Every meter counts, regardless of how fast or slow you row. When you get to a million meters, complete the Million Meter Club entry form and as a reward for your efforts, we'll send you a certificate, drink bottle and our special Million Meter T-shirt for free, plus your achievement will be entered on our website.
You will continue to earn prizes for every additional million meters you row. The current New Zealand record is 34 Million Meters!
